About the Role
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Intern (unpaid) to support our Humar Resources team. This role offers a hands-on introduction to recruitment and employer branding within a fast-paced media environment. The intern will assist with candidate sourcing, screening, coordination and administrative tasks that contribute to the end-to-end hiring process.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing: Assist with sourcing candidates via job boards, social media, internal databases and proactive outreach.
Screening & Shortlisting: Support initial CV reviews and telephone pre-screens to assess candidate suitability against role criteria.
Interview Coordination: Arrange interviews, manage calendars, send interview packs and follow up with candidates and hiring managers.
Applicant Tracking: Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and ensure candidate statuses are up to date.
Administration: Prepare offer documentation, manage background check requests and support onboarding paperwork as required.
Employer Branding: Support the creation and posting of job adverts, careers content and social media activity to raise awareness of career opportunities.
Reporting: Assist with basic recruitment reporting and metrics to help the team monitor time-to-hire and candidate pipeline health.
General Support: Participate in team meetings, project work and ad hoc HR initiatives to learn about broader people operations.
Person Requirements
Recently graduated in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
Strong interest in recruitment and people operations with a desire to build a career in talent acquisition.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Organised, detail‑orientated and able to manage competing priorities.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and quick to learn new systems.
Professional, friendly and discreet when handling confidential candidate information.
Ability to work collaboratively within a small team and to take initiative on tasks.

Accurate record keeping and timely candidate communication that enhances the candidate experience.
Proactive contribution to sourcing and employer branding activities that increase the quality and diversity of the talent pipeline.

Practical Details
Location: Office-based with potential hybrid arrangements depending on team needs.
Duration: Typically 3–6 months, with flexibility discussed at interview.
Hours: Full-time
Remuneration: This is an unpaid internship. Expenses for travel to the office may be considered in line with company policy.
