Finance Executive - ITP Singapore
Role Overview
The Finance Executive supports the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions, effective financial controls and reliable reporting. The role works closely with the CFO and relevant internal stakeholders to support the company's financial management and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Support the CFO with the day-to-day finance and accounting requirements of the business.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are recorded correctly and on time.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment follow-up.
Prepare and process supplier payments and employee expense reimbursements in line with company procedures.
Assist with bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliations and other monthly financial reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports and supporting schedules.
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with relevant stakeholders on collections.
Support budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow monitoring as required by the CFO.
Review invoices, purchase documentation and supporting records to ensure appropriate approvals and documentation are in place.
Maintain organised financial documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and schedules.
Assist with VAT, tax and other statutory or regulatory financial requirements applicable to the business.
Liaise with banks, auditors, suppliers, customers and internal departments on finance-related matters as required.
Support the CFO with financial analysis, reporting and ad hoc projects.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures and internal controls.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company financial and commercial information.
Perform any other finance-related responsibilities assigned by the CFO.
Skills & Experience
Degree or qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
Previous experience in a finance, accounting or similar role.
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.
Good organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
Professional communication skills and the ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
